For those, like me until recently, who never heard about Isay Weinfeld and Marcio Kogan, i strongly recommend you to pay a visit to their respective websites. With a special mention to Kogan’s one and a gold medal for his “Paraty house”, winner of the “Wallpaper magazine” 2010 design award.

That brings me to a second recommendation. Or suggestion shall i say ! Should you one day visit Brazil and pass by wether Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro ( which is kind of normal route ), make sure to spend a couple of days in Paraty , a colonial city very well preserved approx 3 hours drive from SP or RJ on the sea shore. Culture and history, national parks, wild and preserved beaches, sea food and a very friendly atmosphere.
